Property Information:

The Beach Shacks are nestled in the lee of 1770's magnificent headland on the shores of Bustard Bay. Just walk across the road and find yourself on the tranquil, tropical beaches of the inlet at 1770.

Discovered by Captain Cook in 1770, Town of 1770 has a great heritage and a laidback beachy feel. Staggered up a hill and nestled in the lee of the headland that makes up 1770 are The Beach Shacks, unique tropical bungalows that defy the name 'shack' in their level of comfort, yet still have an exotic castaway feel.

Magnificient sunsets over the bay can be savoured from your own private deck. The deck gives you more space to relax and soak up the tranquil beach surroundings, with your own gas barbeque and outside dining area.

1770 is on a headland overlooking Bustard Bay and Round Hill Creek and has historical significance as it was the second place in Australia, after Botany Bay, where Lieutenant Cook took the Endeavour. As it was the first landing place in Queensland it is often proclaimed its birthplace, and was given its name 1770 in 1936.
