2 and 3 Day Go Troppo - Cape Tribulation
Travel north of Cairns to Cape Tribulation where the Reef meets the Rainforest.
The package works like this:
1. Guided transport and activities included to and from the Cape. Free time to enjoy optional activities or just chill out in this tropical paradise.
2. Add on the Rainforest Habitat Sanctuary (to create a Go Wild package) and/or a Great Barrier Reef Trip (to create a Reef and Rainforest package).
3. Choose where you want to stay and the room type
4. Decide how long you want to stay - 2 days / 1 night or 3 days / 2 nights

We stop at Port Douglas where you will be given free time to explore the town. Our next stop is Mossman Gorge in the World Heritage Daintree National Park to take a guided walk through the beautiful rainforest or a swim (weather depending). We continue north to the Daintree River to board a wildlife cruise; searching the mangroves for 'crocs' and other wildlife before arriving in Cape Tribulation at your choice of accommodation. Overnight accommodation included. (Meals at own expense) |
DAY 2 :: FREE
DAY Choose an optional activity or just chill out, take a walk or go for a swim If you are staying for 2 days only, you will return as per directions on Day 3 below. You can do a Reef trip from Cape Tribulation on Day 2 before returning to Cairns. See the 'Go Troppo' Reef and Rainforest and 'Go Wild' Reef and Rainforest packages for more information on adding a Reef trip and Rainforest Habitat Sanctuary options. If you are doing a 3 day package, accommodation on day 2 is included (Meals at own expense). DAY 2 OR 3 :: CAPE TRIBULATION TO CAIRNS Return transfer to Cairns or Port Douglas departs at 4.30pm onwards (or as advised by your guide) from your accommodation. BRING Sturdy walking shoes, swimming gear, hat & sunscreen, camera/film, money for meals and optional activities (plus reef tax: Reef & Rainforest package only). INCLUDED Experienced guides, accommodation of duration and choice, Daintree River Cruise, lunch on day one, ferry crossing, day trip including lunch to Great Barrier Reef (Reef & Rainforest package only). NOTE *Tour does not operate to or from Cape Tribulation on 25 December. Tour operates as a code-share with Jungle Tours. |
