DescaradA’s home port is Able Point Marina in Airlie Beach where your Whitsunday sailing holiday begins. She cruises to some of the most beautiful and naturalistically interesting areas of the Whitsundays such as the Whitehaven Beach’s pure white silica sands, Nara Inlet with its extraordinary rock faces and bushwalks to the aboriginal caves, South Molle Island’s famous forest tracks and the breathtaking snorkelling and dive spots of Cateran Bay on Border Island. The cruising experience is filled with enjoyable activities, culinary moments and the feeling of never wanting to leave the wonders of the Whitsundays behind.
DescaradA's 2 day 2 night cruises depart Able Point Marina, Airlie Beach at 4pm on Fridays and return at 4pm on Sundays. 3 day 3night cruises depart Able Point Marina at 10am on Tuesdays and return at 10am on Fridays.

How to Get There
Proserpine Airport is located only 25km from Airlie Beach and has direct flights daily from Sydney and Brisbane. Hamilton Island Airport has daily direct flights from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Ferries operate from Hamilton Island to Airlie Beach regularly. On the morning of departure the friendly crew organizes your transfer from local area accommodation directly to the 70 foot luxury cruising ship DescaradA.
THE BOAT
DescaradA is in Queensland survey 2B for 9 passengers and 3 crew and in survey 1D for 38 passengers and 4 crew. The construction of the ship is steel hull with aluminium superstructure. She is powered by twin Gardner 150HP engines and cruises @ 9 knots. Built for long range charters, DescaradA is capable of cruising from Australia to Canada nonstop.
The vessel boasts full walk-around capability on the mid deck level with a huge 6mt x 3mt rear deck area. She is equipped with two kayaks, two 1500cc Kawasaki 3 seater jet skis, dive tank fill station, 3.4mt rigid inflatable tender with 6hp outboard and 6.5mt rigid inflatable boat with 150hp outboard. DescaradA has accommodation for eight passengers in three double suites and one twin share bunk room, as well as crew quarters for four.
Fly Bridge Level
The bimini cover area consists of one double and two single daybeds. Its height allows a fantastic view over the ocean, thereby offering a great place for late afternoon champagne.
Mid Deck Level
Includes a fully functional kitchen, complete with all items you would expect to find in a household kitchen. The level features an outdoor dining area and an indoor lounge area with flat screen TV/DVD, Apple iPod sound dock, AM/FM radio and CD player.
Accomodation Deck Level
Comprises of two ensuite double cabins with their own bathrooms and a double cabin and twin berth bunk cabin with a shared bathroom. Each cabin has its own wash basin. The level also has crew quarters, cool room and dive tank fill station.
Water Entry
DescaradA offers great entry to the ocean with a 6mt x 1.5mt boarding platform at water level. The platform has an easy access ladder and deck shower.
