Airlie Beach Marina is currently undergoing extensive construction making way for the new Port of Arile. The project is expected to take between 4 and 6 years to complete. While the noisy works are quite some distance away, it is only background noise that can be heard on occasions. The construction is visible from a majority of Airlie Beach accommodation however, views of the Whitsunday passage are still visible from most accommodation.
Shingley Beach Resort is one of Airlie Beach's newest resort hotels and is located on the waterfront at Shingley Beach, approximately five minutes from the heart of Airlie Beach (or a short stroll from Abel Point Marina).
The resort hotel consists of studio, one, two, and three bedroom self contained resort units and features two pools, a conference centre, dive centre, shops, booking agent and rooftop terrace on site.
All units have large balconies overlooking the Whitsunday Islands and the beach. Shingley Beach Resort is not only one of Airlie Beach's newest hotels , but it is located in a natural amphitheatre surrounded by parkland.

Accommodation Information:
All the self-contained holiday units at Shingley Beach Resort are 4 star standard and feature split-system air-conditioning throughout, direct dial phones, large TV's, modem/data points for Internet access, full kitchens and laundry.
Studio – small open plan apartments (ie no separate bedroom), with a large balcony, queen-size bed, lounge + sofa bed, kitchenette (small cooktop and microwave), bathroom (shower only), communal laundry facilities and undercover parking.
One bedroom - spacious and airy, these apartments feature a large separate bedroom (queen-size bed), walk through wardrobe and en-suite bathroom, full kitchen, and full laundry facilities.
Two Bedroom – large family size apartments featuring one bedroom with queen-size bed, second guest room with 2 x single beds and folding wooden doors, full kitchen and laundry.
Penthouse (3 bedroom) – two levels and twice the size of our two bedroom apartments, upstairs features two master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (some with spa baths), downstairs features “guest room” with 2 x single beds or sofa bed, full kitchen, separate dining area, large balcony, spacious lounge with sofa bed, lock up garage.
