A 4WD adventure to beautiful Moreton Island - a true wilderness destination. Discover this paradise just a short sea ferry journey across Moreton Bay from Brisbane. Moreton Island is the third largest sand island in the World - 98% of which is national park. With no sealed roads on the Island, their 4WDs are essential in getting you to the best locations.
Tour Includes:- Sea ferry across Moreton Bay. The journey from the Port of Brisbane to Moreton Island will take just over one hour. Sit back and enjoy your cruise down the Brisbane River and across Moreton Bay in the comfort of your luxurious FastCat ferry. Café and bar facilities available and the viewing deck is a great place to spot dolphins and dugongs as you pass through the Marine Park. Your guide will be available to provide expert commentary.
- Cool down in your very own Blue Lagoon
- The exhilaration of racing down the slopes of some of the World's steepest sand hills as you try sand tobogganing and sand boarding. Being Moreton's original sand boarding company we use only professional equipment. Safety is our primary concern when speeds up to 65kph can be reached! If you don't want to participate, watch the excitement and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Desert area.
- See the famous Tangalooma Wrecks (guided snorkel included in price $35 value) and the western beaches of Moreton island.
- View wild dolphins, sharks, turtles, and whales (in season)
- Guided Snorkelling: Near the beach at Tangalooma are 15 scuttled wrecks providing an artificial reef system rich in a diverse range of tropical and sub-tropical fish, invertebrates and coral - fish tame enough to eat out of your hand! An ideal place for snorkelling with easy access and is World renowned. Professional guide to provide instruction. Personal flotation devices, snorkels, fins, masks, rash shirts provided. (Shirts and wetsuits provided winter only.)
- On your return cruise across Moreton Bay, watch the sun disappear behind the Glass House Mountains.

Brisbane - 7.15 am - Transit Centre, Roma St. Departs from Level 3, Gate 15. Wait near luggage lockers at top of escalators outside Gate 15. Pickups available from some CBD points / hotels - check availability. 7.30am pickup from Fortitude Valley - outside the Bunk Hostel, Gipp Street.
