Terrace Pool
Open from 6am to 9pm daily the terrace pool is surrounded by mature palm trees and gardens and is perfect to either incorporate into your fitness regime or relax on the deck chairs around the pool and soak up the resort atmosphere.
Adventure Park
Kids can roam free exploring the adventure playground. There are three cubby houses, miniature soccer field with goals, a climbing spider, sand pits, swings, slides and a 21m jumping pillow that is great fun for all ages. The playground is open from 7am to 9pm daily.
Mini Golf
The 18 hole mini golf course is great fun for the whole family. The course is lit at night, perfect for an after dinner activity on the school holidays. The Mini Golf Course is open from 7am to 9pm daily. Putters and golf balls can be collected from the Golf Shop or Bar on the ground level of the clubhouse. Mini Golf rates include unlimited rounds of mini golf in a day and a voucher for a softdrink at the Bar.
FIFTY NINE RESTAURANT & BAR
Where else in Cairns can you sit on a large timber deck with views of the ocean, mountains and perfectly manicured gardens. This 59 Barcan now be found at the new Fifty Nine Restaurant and Bar. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy a welcoming range of cuisine at great value prices. Breakfast favourites include traditional Eggs Benedict and the hearty Country Breakfast or the wicked Panini French Toast with mascapone and strawberries. Lunch caters for those who are looking a leisurely lunch whilst taking in the breathtaking views. GOLF
Constantly ranked as one of Australia’s best and most challenging courses, Paradise Palms offers a combination of sweeping fairways, snaking creeks, six lakes, narrow undulating greens and 94 bunkers. Open to the public seven days a week, the course is a great test for golfers of all levels.
With no shared fairways, from every tee the golfer is presented with a truly spectacular and demanding layout. Adeptly described as one of the most serene playing fields to be experienced, the backdrop alone is worth the effort – regardless of form.
Designed by Graham Marsh and Ross Watson and first opened in 1990 the par 72 course measures 6,592 metres off the championship tees (with four tee spots on offer) and its’ AGU rating of 76 offers the first clue as to the scale of the challenge that awaits the keen golfer.
