Taka Dive Adventures offers liveaboard dive trips from Cairns to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Taka Dive Adventure trips are designed for Certified Divers wishing to experience great dive destinations and/or improve their skills with advanced courses.
People who do not have diving experience are very welcome to join Taka Dive and go snorkelling, however due to the deeper reefs at some dive sites and stronger currents, snorkelling is only suitable for strong swimmers and experienced snorkellers, and snorkelling may not be permitted at all sites. These trips are not suited for children.
The Taka Dive vessel is a 30 meter mono hull steel vessel with 4 decks which can hold up to 30 guests. The liveaboard accommodation consists of a master stateroom, 5 double/twin ensuited cabins, 4 standard twin with bunk cabins (share bathroom), 1 standard twin with a double and bunk bed (share bathroom) and 2 quad share cabins (share bathroom). The vessel also features a dining and lounge area.
DIVE SITES:
You get the opportunity to dive with the Giant Potato Cod at the Cod Hole, visit beautiful dive sites at the Robbin Reefs where you will see Manta Rays, Giant Cuttlefish, Loggerheads and Green Turtles, and experience shark feeding at Osprey Reef.
