Caloundra accommodation lies mostly facing the beautiful Pumicestone passage at the northern end of Bribie Island and Moreton Bay. Caloundra is the southern most city on the Sunshine Coast and is renowned for its magnificent beaches and waterways. The surf is terrific and the fishing is great. What better place to spend your next holiday than Caloundra. This seaside paradise is also quite close to Steve Irwin's Australia zoo which adds to its attraction as a tourist destination.

There is a wide range of sunshine Coast Accommodation available in several different areas. The main areas that are popular with holiday makers are Golden beach, Caloundra and Dickie beach. Golden beach is located facing the Pumicestone passage and not far from Pelican Waters with its Greg Norman designed resort golf course. There is some superb accommodation in the area. The Moorings on Golden Beach provides top quality holiday apartment style accommodation with a great restaurant and a super waterfront location. The twin towers of Gemini resort are visible right across Moreton Bay and the views from the apartments is spectacular. Rydges Oasis resort is also located at Golden Beach and is very well known.

In Caloundra itself you will find some great accommodation. Breakfree resorts operate the beautiful Grand pacific resort. Pumicestone Blue is brand new and located in the main street close to shopping and restaurants and Centerpoint apartments are located close to the centre of town and command spectacular views over Pumicestone Passage and Moreton Bay. To the north at Dickie Beach lies Portobello by the sea. This is a beautiful resort which is situated on a rise above the beach and features comfortable holiday apartment style accommodation which is fully self-contained.
