Caloundra Fishing Charters
There are several fishing charters that operate for Caloundra holiday makers. Mostly these operate from mooloolaba which is a short drive to the north. Charter operators take trips out to the banks offshore from Point Cartwright an go reef fishing or trolling for pelagic species like Cobia and mackerel. The chance of catching something good for dinner are excellent as the local waters off Caloundra are prolific. Beach fishing here is also popular and if you bring a tinny, the calm waters of the Pumicestone Passage, just south of caloundra, are fantastic for a family fishing trip.
