Not only does it have the calm water beaches on Pumicestone Passage, but it also has several wonderful surfing beaches. Because of its unique layout, there is also plenty of beachfront holiday accommodation on offer. This can be found at Golden Beach or around the seaward shoreline.

You can play golf at the nearby Pelican Waters golf course, or if you want to make golf the centrepiece of your holiday you can choose to play at a number of other great Sunshine Coast golf courses.
