Lady Musgrave Island and Lagoon is a true coral cay situated only 32 nautical miles from the Town of 1770. Lady Musgrave National Park is a tropical paradise abundant in pisonia forests and bird life. The island is set on 3000 acres of living reef with a deepwater coral lagoon wich is unique to the entire Great Barrier Reef Region. Their vessel enters the calm waters of the lagoon and moors only 300 metres from the island. This provides a protected haven for all age groups to explore the wonders of a living reef eco-system and the colourful variety of marine life - all in one great day!
The Day Cruise includes: 6 hours on the Outer Barrier Reef; Snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon; Viewing the coral gardens through our spacious glass-bottom boat; Snorkelling and viewing in the lagoon at Coral Bay; Walking through the islands flora and fauna; Feeding the colourful variety of marine life; Discovering turtles and manta rays (all year round) and humpback whales in season; 1.5 hours reef fishing for your own catch; Tropical buffet luncheon plus morning and afternoon teas included; Quality snorkelling equipment, fishing equipment, flotation vests and sunscreen are included; Wetsuits are available for hire; Plus friendly personalised service.
