Kingfisher Bay - Half Day Whale Watching
Seeing a whale in the wild is the experience of a lifetime. From August to October humpback whales on their migration south to the Antarctic stop to rest and play and nurture their calves in the calm, safe waters of Hervey Bay in the protected lee of Fraser Island.
Because the whales are taking time out from their migration they provide some of the best whale watching in the world. As they come in close to the boats they are easily seen in the clear waters of the bay.
The Kingfisher Bay Hervey Bay whale watching catamaran gives guests comfortable all round viewing and expert marine rangers provide commentary on the whales behaviour and give a multimedia presentation.
While visiting the whales stay in the great Kingfisher Bay Resort.
