Seabelle Restaurant & Wine Bar
Seabelle Restaurant is an award wining Australian dining experience. The food offered by this restaurant has such a diverse range to suit every individual they include Bush Tucker meets modern Australian cuisine, Fresh Australian Seafood, extensive vegetarian menu and a selection of fine Australian Wines. The restaurant has a theatre style kitchen and a large deck with bush views. One of the main features of the restaurant is the Bush tucker and wine tastings.
Maheno Restaurant and Lounge Bar
Maheno Restaurant offers a casual dining experience which overlooks the resorts pool. It serves a Hot Buffet breakfast, themed buffet dinner and Hot & cold dishes & desserts and a Seafood buffet on Fridays and Saturdays. The casual atmosphere allows one to simply grab an island cocktail from the Lounge Bar and watch Live Entertainment.

The Sand Bar & Bistro
The Sand Bar & Bistro overlooks the beach & the resorts two pools. With a vibrant nautical atmosphere, fun, casual food and entertainment, this place is very popular place to be while staying at the resort. Meals from the bistro menu are reasonably priced and the gourmet pizza is a must. Cauvery lunch is offered on Sundays and the pool tables are a great source of fun.
The Jetty Hut
The Pool Bar features Full service, specialising in cocktails, fruit smoothies and poolside snacks all for an enjoying experience by the pool. WEDDINGS:
You can choose a simple ceremony at romantic Sunset Beach, or over-looking islands of the Great Sandy Strait, or in one of the many peaceful bush settings around the resort.

A site fee of is applicable and includes the ceremony set up and co-ordination, a clothed and skirted table for signing the Register, red carpet for the wedding aisle and transfers to and from the ceremony if within the Resort grounds. A "Notice of Intent to Marry" must be lodged with a celebrant one month and one day before the ceremony.
Kingfisher caters for all types of receptions from simple cocktail parties and barbecues to elegant or formal dinners. They can be held in a spacious air-conditioned ballroom, or in a more casual environment like the deck overlooking the pool or beachside. The signature restaurant Seabelle is perfect for smaller intimate wedding suppers for those who just want closest friends and family (conditions apply). Menu and beverage prices vary according to the chosen venue and menu.

GETTING TO THE ISLAND
SELF DRIVE

From Brisbane
The journey is approximately 3.5 to 4 hours drive north of Brisbane City. Head out of Brisbane city on the Inner City Bypass onto Kingsford Smith Drive. Stay on Kingsford Smith Drive until you see the signs to the Airport on the Gateway Arterial Road. Once on the Gateway Arterial Road, you continue driving for around 10 minutes until you see a sign that says ‘Sunshine Coast’ on the left lanes.
Take this exit and drive for a further 10 minutes until this joins the Bruce Highway. You then simply follow the signs through Gympie then take the Maryborough exit. From Maryborough, it is simply a matter of following the signs and allowing 30 to 40 minutes for the trip from Maryborough to Hervey Bay.
From Bundaberg
The journey is approximately 1.5 hours drive south. Follow the Bruce Highway south to the Fraser Coast. Turn off at Torbanlea and follow signs to Hervey Bay. Stay on the main road, which becomes Boat Harbour Drive, and follow the signs to Hervey Bay.
Please note: All Fast Cat services operated by the resort from Urangan Boat Harbour will cease from COB 31 January 2010.
Kingfisher Ferry Service:
Kingfisher Ferry has 4 services to the resort each day from River Heads. This ferry has seating for 220 passengers on two decks with a fully licensed bar and snack food available. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes.
Kingfisher Bus Transfer Service
Kingfisher Bay Resort will provide regular scheduled pick up / drop off guest courtesy transfer services between key locations such as Hervey Bay Coach Terminal and Urangan Harbour to River Heads to meet the ferry departures - for all passengers including walk-ons. These transfers must be pre-confirmed at time of booking.

Secure Parking
Secure, uncovered car parking is located on the left as you enter the Urangan Boat Harbour car park. We suggest you drive directly to the Tourist Terminal to off-load luggage at the Kingfisher Bay reception then return to the car park. It is just a 100-metre walk away.
SELF DRIVE WITH 4WD DRIVE
Barge transfers at River Heads with your 4WD vehicle:
River Heads is about 15 minutes north of Maryborough. Follow the signs to Hervey Bay and mid-way through the journey, you will see a sign for ‘RIVER HEADS'. Turn right at this sign onto Booral Road, then travel for approximately 10 minutes until you will see a sign for 'RIVER HEADS Fraser Island Barges’. Turn right at the sign onto River Heads Road. From there, it is about a 10 minute drive straight to the ferry terminal. You should aim to collect your barge tickets at least 20 minutes prior to your departure.
Barge transfers at Inskip Point, Rainbow Beach with your 4WD vehicle:
Turn off the Bruce Highway at Gympie onto the Tin Can Bay Road; continue following all Rainbow Beach signs to township (approximately 60 minutes traveling). From Rainbow Beach follow Inskip Point Road to its end – where you will see the white barges.
