These apartments are ideal for family holidays and have underground parking as well as a great swimming pool. This is probably the best accommodation on the ocean side of the island.

GETTING THERE
Sailfish on Fraser can be accessed by light aircraft from Hervey Bay or by four wheel drive vehicle hired from Hervey bay and conveyed to the island on one of the regular vehicle barge services.
Air Fraser Island provides a 20 minute scenic flight from Hervey Bay across the Sandy Straits to the island. The flight lands at Happy Valley, almost adjacent to Sailfish on Fraser.
There are barge services to Fraser Island from Hervey Bay and Rainbow Beach. The Moon Point barge no longer operates. Access from the south is via inskip point and from hervey bay the barge leaves River heads and goes to Wangoolba Creek on the western side of the island. Permits are necessary and can be obtained from either departure point.
Fraser Island is 3 1/2 hours north of Brisbane by car, and 4 1/2 hours from the Gold Coast.
