Shayla Cruises operates "Shayla", a 30 passenger Hervey Bay whale watching, purpose built sailing catamaran (two engines for those really calm days), for these great sailing experiences:
- Whale Watch Experience (August to October)
- Sail Fraser Island with boom netting, dolphins, turtles and surrounding islands (November to July)

Details- Courtesy pick up with Kingfisher Bay bus (along with Lake Mackenzie tour) for the ferry at 6.45am, arriving at the resort at 7.30am, allowing you enough time to have a stroll around the resort or enjoy a treat at the bakery before boarding ‘Shayla’ for your cruise at 8.15am
- Enjoy personalized service and experience with low numbers of 20 passengers or less, without crowds
- Sail this remote and untouched piece of paradise enjoying the abundant wildlife, including dolphins, turtles, dugongs and other sea life
