Long Island Resort is located on Long Island in the Whitsundays and caters for everyone, from couples to families and from young to old. KIDS & FAMILIES
Long Island has a professional qualified Kids Club. All year round the staff care for children from 4-14 years (during low seasons Kids Club operation subject to minimum numbers). There is no charge for this service, it is provided to ensure everyone can enjoy all the wonders of Long Island Resort.
Baby sitting can be arrange for children between 0-3 years, this service will be in your room for an additional charge.

Palms Restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers buffet style dining and you can choose from the A la carte menu.
Café Paradiso
This licensed Café is open daily and offers casual dining, including pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, snacks and beverages. The café can even arrange a picnic hamper.
CLUB SPA
Rejuvinate your body and soul, with a broad range of services from Club Spa Massage and Beauty. They provide a satisfying range of services using the quality natural products from Algologie, France. Pamper your senses and feel like you have had a holiday within yourself.
The Day Spa can also come to you, providing excellence in your own room on the resort.
WEDDINGS & HONEYMOONS
Long Island resort can cater for large and small weddings, and this island is fantastic for a honeymoon getaway.
The resort offers green lawns surrounded by tropical palm trees, with beautiful butterflies and colourful rainbow lorikeets. Get married on the white sandy beach, either during the day or while the sun is setting over the Coral Sea. And then have your reception at the pool which is set in tropical gardens.

GETTING TO THE ISLAND
By Air
The Whitsundays are serviced by two domestic airports, Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island (HTI) and Whitsunday Coast Airport on the mainland at Proserpine (PPP).
From Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI) Cruise Whitsundays meets flights for a comfortable 30 minute catamaran cruise to Long Island, departing from the jetty located directly at the airport.
From Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP) Cruise Whitsundays offer a streamlined transfer with a 30 minute coach connection directly from the airport to Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach, where a connecting ferry transfers guests to Long Island in 45 minutes to 1 hour.

By Road
The Whitsundays can be accessed via the Bruce Highway which covers the East
coast of Queensland from Cairns to Brisbane. Dependant on conditions, driving
time from Brisbane is approximately 12 hours north to Airlie Beach and 8 hours south from Cairns.
Secure Car Parking is available at Abel Point Marina.
Regular coach services also operate into Airlie Beach.
By Rail
Regular daily train services depart from Brisbane heading North and from Cairns and Townsville heading South. A Whitsunday Transit Coach service is available from Proserpine Rail Station with launch connections from Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach to Long Island.

As the sun sets behind the mountains of the Conway National Park, its last light shimmers across the water. A truly magical sight through the palm trees and the Resort surrounds. This also heralds the nightly flight of the fruit bats as they momentarily darken the sky at dusk silently flying across the expansive courtyard and off into the night. The outside world is forgotten as you are submersed in nature's wonders.

One Day BLUE PEARL BAY Snorkelling Adventure
A two hour sail from the mainland, Blue Pearl Bay boasts some spectacular fringing reef. See beautiful coral and thousands of tropical fish in waist deep water just metres from the beach. For the more adventurous, a short paddle brings you to spectacular coral bommies and the largest Blue Pearl Bay residents like Maori Wrasse and Coral Trout. Snorkelling is supervised and for the inexperienced, instruction is available on board. All snorkelling gear is supplied free of charge. Diving is also available.
A delicious buffet lunch is served on board before the sail home via the Whitsunday Passage. Enjoy a gourmet afternoon platter is served during the return to the mainland.
