Port Hinchinbrook - Cruises

Cruise 1 "HINCHINBROOK EXPLORER" Sunday – Wednesday – Friday Temporary out of service due to lack of demand.
	Your cruise will be in the beautiful Hinchinbrook Passage to Lucinda and return. The water will be smooth, the mountains are spectacular and the boaties say that the Passage is the most magnifi cent waterway in Australia. The bar will be open for drinks, coffee and snacks during the cruise. Lunch will be served aboard at 1.15pm and the vessel will depart Lucinda at 2pm. Subject to tide, number of passengers and conditions the "HINCHINBROOK EXPLORER" Master will take you back to Port Hinchinbrook via the western Boat Passage which, in the past, was the preferred course due to glassy water and slow tide movement.

Cruise 2 – Departs daily "HINCHINBROOK EXPLORER II"
	Your first stop will be at Cape Richards where some of the passengers will disembark for a holiday at the "Wilderness Lodge" or undertake a four day walk on the world famous Thorsborne Trail. Day trippers will have 3 choices. 1 - Go ashore and spend your day at the Lodge. 2 - Stay on the boat and explore the magnificent mangrove jungle in Missionary Bay and Creek 7. OR 3 - Your vessel will drop you off at Macushla from where you can walk a wonderful trail . They will provide you with sandwiches and bottled water to keep you from starving.

Cruise 3 "HINCHINBROOK EXPLORER II" Snorkelling & Diving Day Tour (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
	Calypso Dive offer a FREE Introduction to Snorkelling & Diving in the Lodge pool. If you are not participating in this FREE introduction you will have time to explore Orchid Beach and enjoy the Lodge facilities, maybe even have a look at the rooms. NOTE: Please do let Calypso Dive know if you are leaving the dive group and make sure you are back in time for lunch at 11:30am. Depart from Lodge Pontoon aboard Calypso for the short cruise to the Brook Islands. The Brook Islands are one of the oldest parts of the Great Barrier Reef and a protected area. As such the Marine life is plentiful and colourful amongst the backdrop of corals.
