Great Adventures visits the Outer Great Barrier Reef daily from Cairns with its flagship vessel, the Reef Prince. A state-of-the-art, high speed catamaran, the Reef Prince incorporates the latest satellite navigation systems, the most advanced safety features and superior passenger comfort with its aircraft-style seating.
On arrival at our spacious, three-level pontoon your adventure begins. Snorkelling and diving under the close supervision of our highly trained staff are very popular ways to appreciate the beauty of the reef. And our underwater observatory and semi-submersible vessel provide excellent views for those who prefer to keep their feet dry.
There is so much to see - extraordinary corals like the Gogonian sea fans, branching staghorns and the uncanny 'brain' coral. Through these coral gardens a mass of marine life makes its way - the yellow-tailed fusiliers, the blue and gold angel fish, the parrot fish, and the majestic Maori wrasse, to name just a few.
After marvelling at this natural wonder of the world, there is a tropical smorgasbord lunch to be enjoyed before your voyage back to Cairns.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Government Environmental Management Charges of $5.50 per person.
This is a levy for all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. This additional charge is applicable for all outer reef cruises and is payable direct to Great Adventures on the day of travel.
Fuel Surcharge
With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to your ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure and is applicable for Outer Reef Cruises.
