Pro Dive Cairns offers a PADI 5 Day Learn to Scuba Dive Course, taking you from Cairns to the outer Great Barrier Reef. You'll spend the first 2 days in a classroom and learning to dive in a pool, then Pro Dive takes you on a 3 Day / 2 Night Liveaboard Dive Trip where you'll do 9 dives and spend the night on the reef.
Pro Dive Cairns has the best outer reef dive sites on 4 different locations. They'll visit different sites depending on visability and weather conditions so you will experience a good variety and quality of both coral and marine life.
The first two days of your course are spent at their modern training centre learning the theory and practical skills of scuba diving. At the end of day 2 Pro Dive recommends the option of attending 'Reef Teach'. 'Reef Teach' is a fun and informative marine biology presentation that will greatly enhance your reef experience. (Additional cost)
The next 3 days and 2 nights are spent living on board one of their premium live aboard dive vessels. You'll have the opportunity to participate in 9 dives, your first 4 dives will complete your open water certification and then as certified diver you are able to undertake up to 5 more recreational or pleasure dives. One of these dives is a guided night dive!
