Launched in 1961 and restored in 2002/2003 with her original timber fittings still intact. Get involved in the sailing or sit back relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The camp ashore option allows guests to enjoy comforts of sleeping on land in private double/twin tents.

Rendevous Diving Available

Enid offers Rendezvous Diving, as she does not carry diving equipment on board. If there are keen divers on board and prevailing weather conditions are right the crew will endeavour to meet up with another vessel for an opportunity to scuba dive.

As an ecoaccredited vessel, guests can get involved in the sailing or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful secluded bays teeming with tropical fish and coral.

* Experience Camping
Camping on the Whitsunday Islands
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of sleeping under the stars at a secluded beach in the Whitsunday Islands. With a maximum of 2 guests per tent, this is a great option for couples looking for some privacy, guests who are nervous about getting seasick, or people just looking to experience nature at it's best!

This opportunity is unique to Oz Adventure Sailing. Passengers who book this option participate in all the daily activities but at night enjoy the privacy of sleeping ashore at our secluded island camping locations.

* What is Supplied
All camping gear is supplied including a two man tent, double blow up matress, linen, sleeping bag, pillows and a torch. A crew member will stay on land with guests and they will endeavour to stay at campsites with ammenities.

* What to Bring
Warm clothes in winter, insect repellent and appropriate footware.

* Eco Certified
The Eco Certification Program is a world first. It has been developed by industry for industry, addressing the need to identify genuine ecotourism and nature tourism operators in Australia. the Eco Certification Program is now being exported to the rest of the world as the International Ecotourism Standard.

What is Ecotourism? Ecotourism and nature tourism certification provide industry, protected area managers, local communities and travellers with an assurance that a certified product is backed by a commitment to best practice ecological sustainability, natural area management and the provision of quality ecotourism experiences. Both eco and advanced eco certification make sure to help preserve the spectacular Whitsunday Islands and marine park.

There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife charge fees for entry into the Marine and National Parks. The overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs. These fees are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of publishing a total fee of $33 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association to cover these costs. This includes Environment Management Charge of $5.00 per day, Queensland Parks Activity Fee of $1.45 per day, and Administration Fee plus Goods and Services Tax of $4.55 per day. There is a 2.2% surcharge for credit card purchases that may apply.
