SCUBA Diving Available On Board

Pacific Star endeavours to stop at the best dive destinations around the Whitsunday Islands and The Outer Great Barrier Reef. She is fully equipped for Scuba Diving with 2 on board dive instructors to take beginners or certified divers. All dive gear is included in the dive prices and the first 20 min dive is free. Pacific Star is fitted with a high capacity compressor which means tanks can be refilled and dives won't be limited to the number of tanks on board.

There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife charge fees for entry into the Marine and National Parks. The overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs. These fees are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of publishing a total fee of $33 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association to cover these costs. This includes Environment Management Charge of $5.00 per day, Queensland Parks Activity Fee of $1.45 per day, and Administration Fee plus Goods and Services Tax of $4.55 per day. There is a 2.2% surcharge for credit card purchases that may apply.
