Powerplay endeavours to stop at the best dive destinations around the Whitsunday Islands and The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. She is fully equipped for Scuba Diving with on board dive instructors to take beginners or certified divers. All dive gear is included in the dive prices and professional dive photos are available to buy on disk.

The shallow draft allows us to nuzzle up to beaches so you can easily swim to shore. Experience lush islands in world heritage listed parks with amazing rainforests and their wildlife, flora and ancient culture. You can look forward to the stunning Whitehaven Beach with its pure silica sand, crystal clear waters and the amazing marine life in the vibrant underwater gardens of the Whitsundays - pure bliss!

Powerplay is the ideal blend of action and relaxation - take a bushwalk, stroll along the most beautiful beaches, relax on the tramps soaking up some sun with a drink at hand, indulge in a good book, enjoy a game of cards or have a snooze as your vessel gently bobs at anchor in tranquility enjoying pristine inlets and bays… and then there's the option of play! Impromptu gymnastics, volleyball or cricket on the beach and some interesting 'food challenges' onboard, then indulge in the luxury of a warm spa with bubbles at sunset before watching a movie on our projection screen home theatre system in Powerplay's large saloon.

There are many opportunities each day for adventuring the underwater world. Power Play visits the best snorkeling and diving spots around the islands. Our liveaboard dive instructors can take both beginner and certified divers on some of the best guided dives in the Great Barrier Reef. The Whitsundays is a diver's paradise with over 100 chartered dive sites and an average water temperature of 25 degrees C all year. With all dive equipment at hand and unlimited air fills, you'll effortlessly marvel in the wonderland of underwater gardens, abundant with marine life. First time divers are smoothly introduced to diving by our qualified instructors who can take you to shallow beach entries. The boat itself offers a sensational platform to explore the water from, so you are also welcome to dive straight from the back of the vessel. Experience first hand what the Whitsundays is all about… sheltered coral reefs, challenging swim throughs, massive coral structures and overhangs with amazing fish tropical life, turtles, mantarays and gropers. Many of the fish are tame and will swim right up to inspect you at the same time as you being in awe of them! Dives are subject to passing a dive medical questionnaire onboard).

Our talented crew capture hundreds of your holiday images each day while you snorkel and dive with our hi-tech underwater camera. Daily slide shows of these photos and flims are an absolute highlight when viewed as a slide show on our home theatre screen each evening -magic moments, always entertaining and a DVD of these images at the end of the trip is a great way to share your adventure with family and friends.

* Fabulous Food
Feasting is also considered one of the favourite activities on Powerplay. You can look forward to delicious meals and nibbles throughout the day and enjoy dining under the stars during marvelous evening Aussie BBQs. You have fresh fruit available and we cater for all dietary requirements - vegetarian, allergies, gluten intolerant, just let us know. We are more than happy to help with special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries also. You will work up a huge appetite with all the action onboard! The expertise of our host will leave you amazed with the fresh feasts they provide for you while you socialise.

Day One
Afternoon tea: Fresh tropical fruit served with Aussie Mud Cake - a choc-a-holics delight! All complemented with hot Tea or Coffee. Sunset nibblies: Freshly blended creamy dips with crunchy fresh vegetable strips and savoury crackers.
Evening meal: Our Skippers famous 'Powerplay Chicken Breast Fillets', marinated in a secret blend of local herbs and exotic spices then Barbecued to perfection on our huge aft deck BBQ. Lashings of garlic bread, a salad platter of crisp local produce and a delicious Caesar Salad. Our special Kan Ton style vermicelli, a Powerplay favourite!

Day Two
Breakfast: Hot toasted muffins with melted butter and a huge range of spreads. (try our Aussie Vegemite!). Selection of cereals and tropical muesli to suit all tastes. Chilled fruit juices and your choice of tea or coffee.
Morning tea: Aussie Anzac biscuits and fresh fruit platter served with tea and coffee.Lunch: A superb smorgasboard of chicken and champagne ham accompanied by fresh garden salads served with lavash bread and fluffy rolls. (Don't forget to try our mouthwatering selection of home made spreads!)
Afternoon tea: A magnificent tropical fruit platter that looks as great as it tastes! The perfect welcome back aboard after your afternoon dive.Sunset nibblies: Sliced cabanossi and cubed cheese selection with crackers and crudites.
Evening meal: BBQ Aussie Style! Succulent choice rib fillet steaks and gourmet deli style italian sausages on our sizzling hot plate beneath the stars. Crunchy coleslaw and fresh salad platters with vinaigrette dressing.Our tasty italian pasta with zesty tomato sauce served with steaming hot garlic bread...

Day Three
Breakfast: Hot toasted raison bread with melted butter and a huge range of spreads.Selection of cereals and tropical muesli to suit all tastes. Chilled fruit juices and your choice of tea or coffee.

* Meet New Friends
Powerplay is spacious with many areas for socializing. The saloon seats 16 people for dinner or you can dine alfresco at the aft cockpit table. All areas offer shade to shelter from the sun. Alternatively the foredeck has two huge comfortable nets that provide a spacious lounging area for soaking up sunshine if you choose. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Whitsunday islands from the skipper's view on the flybridge, where there is comfortable seating for 8 people upstairs. And don't forget - there is the luxury of our 6 person heated Jacuzzi!

Step onboard and enjoy the world's best scenery in comfort and style with an enthusiastic and friendly crew, fine food and spacious accommodation. With 3 flat screen DVD players, and onboard computer for dive photos with a large screen and projector and state of the art surround sound. Distance is no object and there is less chance of being seasick on this luxury catamaran. There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife charge fees for entry into the Marine and National Parks. The overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs. These fees are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of publishing a total fee of $33 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association to cover these costs. This includes Environment Management Charge of $5.00 per day, Queensland Parks Activity Fee of $1.45 per day, and Administration Fee plus Goods and Services Tax of $4.55 per day. There is a 2.2% surcharge for credit card purchases that may apply.
