23.9m Maxi which is well known in the racing industry for winning the 1989 Sydney to Hobart Race. With it's large spacious decks there is plenty of room to relax or help the crew and join in with the sailing. With a maximum of 28 passengers Spank Me is a fun, social and fast adventure. Over 3 days and 3 nights snorkel coral reefs and visit Whithaven Beach, there is something for everyone.

From 1 July 2008 onwards and until further notice, a $6 fuel surcharge will be collected at the OAS check in.

SCUBA Diving Available On Board

Spank Me is equipped for on board scuba diving and includes one free 20min dive. She has on board dive instructors to take beginner and certified divers around the Whitsunday Islands and the Outer Reef.

Experience the best of the Whitsunday Islands and Outer Reef on board our eco accredited Spank Me, a 23.9m Maxi. Built in 1989 by Alan Bond, Spank Me was originally named "Drumbeat" and won the 1989 Sydney to Hobart Race before relocating overseas to compete for the next decade as "Congere" and then "Spank Me BT".

She returned home to Australia in 2004 and now takes 28 guests on 3 day/3 night sailing and diving eco adventures exploring the World Heritage Listed Whitsunday Islands, visiting Whitehaven Beach and snorkelling or diving the Great Barrier Reef.

Each passenger receives a free 20 minute dive and for those who want to get involved in the sailing, our experienced crew will need the help of enthusiastic passengers to get on the grinder and pull up the main sail. Come and get involved and explore, or sit back and relax on the spacious deck. Spank Me has something for everyone!

There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife charge fees for entry into the Marine and National Parks. The overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs. These fees are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of publishing a total fee of $33 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association to cover these costs. This includes Environment Management Charge of $5.00 per day, Queensland Parks Activity Fee of $1.45 per day, and Administration Fee plus Goods and Services Tax of $4.55 per day. There is a 2.2% surcharge for credit card purchases that may apply.
