The 12.5m "Lagoon" Catamaran was designed for minimal guests to relax and unwind in luxury as your crew guide you around the Whitsundays. The comfort and stability of a cat means you can easily move around while sailing. The large deck space and front nets means there is plenty of room to sunbake or read a book. Snorkel and beach walk by day, socialise with new friends in the evening and enjoy fine food and wine. Or slip off and watch a DVD in your private cabin. This quality 41 foot "Lagoon" Catamaran was designed for a luxury stable sailing experience, perfect for enabling you to take in the beautiful ever changing views of the Whitsundays. It boasts two double cabins and two queen sized cabins each with its own ensuite and DVD system. A maximum of four couples allows for a lovely environment.

Whitsunday Blue has large twin forward nets for relaxing and plenty of deck space. The saloon and dining area have a polished wood table surrounded by leather look lounges and an abundance of glass creating superb light for the ultimate blend of style, comfort and function.

The latest navigation and electronic aids means your skipper can allow you to experience amazing destinations each day. This voyage was designed to be flexible so the wishes and desires of guests can be taken in as much as possible to make the most of your time in the Whitsundays. For this reason no two trips are alike.

You will head to exclusive beaches that the larger cruise ships cannot access. Our shallow draft allows us to back right up to the beach and the hulls have transform steps for easy access in and out of the water. There is plenty of sailing, swimming, snorkelling, sunbaking, beach hopping and of course… wining and dining to enjoy! Unwind with a good book and our quiet relaxing sail or join the skipper for a chat at the helm.

* Enjoy Snorkelling or Try Diving
Enjoy world-class snorkelling on the spectacular fringing reefs, bursting with an abundance or marine and bird life as well as brilliant coral. There is nothing like the experience of swimming with a 2 metre giant Maori Wrasse amongst a school of fish! Discover why Whitehaven Beach is so famous – this vast stretch of almost pure silica sand goes on for 6 kilometres. It's no wonder its rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it will be an absolute highlight of your trip. You may never want to leave, but when you do there is more exploring of sensational lush green tropical islands and as you sail you will have the opportunity to view the resorts on the more well known Whitsunday Islands also. Add to this picture a breathtaking crimson sunset, all with a backdrop of crystal blue waters… this is your chance to create once in a lifetime memories.

If you're a keen scuba diver, Whitsunday Blue can provide you with all your scuba dive equipment onboard – or rendevous with one of Islandive's other dedicated dive vessels. Either way our knowledgeable crew can show you the best diving spots right in the centre of the Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park for an experience of a lifetime. We cater for everyone, whether you are certified or introductory and you will enjoy coral walls, stunning swim throughs, secret caverns, swimming with turtles, huge gropers, schools of tropical fish and the many bright vivid colours! For the novice you can take an easy beach entry and be blown away by the world underwater and certified divers will walk away raving about their Whitsundays experience as being one of the best in the world. Year-round our water stays close to 25 C, so warm water and calm seas add to your enjoyment. (Dives are subject to passing a dive medical questionnaire onboard).

* Fabulous Food
Your generous sessions of in water excitement and play amongst the marine life will work up a real appetite, which our fantastic staff will happily feed. The sumptuous gourmet meals prepared by your live aboard host are amazing. Our staff are ever enthusiastic and will provide you with superb smorgasbords – we know you will never be disappointed with the quality of our food and you will also delight in the aroma of freshly brewed local coffee. This is a BYO vessel for alcohol and there is tea and coffee making facilities and fresh fruit on offer throughout your trip and a range of soft drinks available for purchase. We are able to cater for special dietary needs, eg. vegetarian, gluten intolerant or allergies and we are happy to help with special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, just let us know at the time of booking.

A typical menu…

Day One
Arrival: Exotic tropical/seasonal fruit selection Pineapple, Rock melon, Mango and kiwi fruit.
Sunset: hordeauves Fine dips accompanied by crispy strip vegetables and savoury flavoured crudites .
Entree: Locally caught fresh Australian prawns served with a thousand island dressing on a bed of rocket lettuce.
Dinner: Flamed barbecue Tuscan chicken served with a fresh Greek salad, Lashings of Fetta, Sun dried tomatoes and kalamata olives.. Accompanied with oven baked crisp herb dinner rolls. Suggested wine Western Australian Sauvignon Blanc.

Dessert: New York style cheese cake with berry coulis.

Day Two
Breakfast: Fresh fruit platter, Swiss museli, cereals, warm croissants with banana bread Morning Tea Individual French pastries. Lunch: Superb smorgasbord- Tasmania smoked salmon, champagne leg ham, waldorf salad, spinach and pine nut salad, traditional greek salad with wholegrain and scotch rolls.
Afternoon Tea: Mrs Fields fudge cookies and tea/coffee and hot chocolate. Sunset: Antipasto Including stuffed olives, marinated eggplant, King Island Cheeses and gourmet dips.
Dinner: Rib fillet or select cut Kangaroo fillet topped with your choice of Bearnaise/pepper/garlic butter sauces. Served with potato gratin and steamed vegetables. Accompanied by cheese and herb ciabatta bread. Suggested wine a Barossa Valley Merlot. Dessert: Individual Creme brulee with fresh King Island cream.

Day Three
Breakfast: "Whitsunday Blue Hot Breakfast" - Bacon, eggs (scrambled, fried or poached) with grilled tomato, mushrooms on toasted English muffins Morning Tea Assorted berrie and chocolate muffins. Tea/coffee and hot chocolate.
Lunch: Caesar Salad, Potato salad, pasta salad, marinated oven roasted chicken pieces served with crunchy fresh rolls.

The saloon can seat everyone for dinner, but you also have the choice of enjoying alfresco meals on the cockpit dining table, or there is a large aft bimi offering shade to hide away from the sun if you prefer.

* An Unforgetable Holiday
Of an evening you can watch the stars dance in the sky from the comfortable foredeck or kick back and watch a digital slide show of the days happenings after dinner – all the photos taken by staff of your adventures. You also have the option of taking in a movie on the flatbed screen in the comfortable saloon with surround sound. Then you can enjoy a great nights' sleep in one of Whitsunday Blue's huge comfy berths while floating peacefully at a secluded anchorage.

At night or enjoy a good movie on the large outdoor home theatre in the aft cockpit.

There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife charge fees for entry into the Marine and National Parks. The overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs. These fees are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of publishing a total fee of $33 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association to cover these costs. This includes Environment Management Charge of $5.00 per day, Queensland Parks Activity Fee of $1.45 per day, and Administration Fee plus Goods and Services Tax of $4.55 per day. There is a 2.2% surcharge for credit card purchases that may apply.
