Sunshine Coast hotels offer a wide range of accommodation spread over a wide area. The major regions of the Sunshine Coast are Noosa in the north, Coolum and Marcoola beaches, Maroochydore and Mooloolaba, and Caloundra in the south. These regions all offer easy access to fabulous beaches and the delights of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Attractions such as the Glasshouse mountains, Steve Irwins Australia Zoo, Underwater world and the Eumundi markets as well as the hinterland villages of Montville and Malaney.

Noosa is one of the icons in the Australian holiday market with frozen southerners flocking to its warm winter sunshine to escape the southern winter. Noosa hotels such as The Sheraton Noosa, Netanya, The Hotel Laguna and The Sebel Resort Noosa all front onto the famous Hastings St precinct with its village like atmosphere and are only a stones throw from the famous beach. Hastings St is renouned for its ritzy restaurants, cafes and boutiques.

A little south of Noosa are the seaside resorts of Coolum and Marcoola. Once again the beaches are wonderful and the golfing is great.Here you will find The Hyatt Coolum Resort and Novotel Twin Waters Resort. Across the Maroochy river are the twin resort towns of Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. Once again both areas have close access to the best beaches on the Sunshine Coast, and are in close proximity to the best shopping around. This includes Sunshine Plaza and the many boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Try the fabulous Black Dog Cafe at the Sebel Maroochydore which is right on the beachfront as is Alexandra Beach Resort, Osprey Resort, The Outrigger Mooloolaba, Zanzibar Resort and Sirocco Resort.

Further to the south you can enjoy the fabulous attractions of Caloundra. This famous resort town fronts the ocean as well as the most beautiful waterway called Pumicestone passage running between the mainland and Bribie Island. Enjoy fabulous beaches, great fishing or a round of golf on the Greg Norman designed course at Pelican Waters. Caloundra is also well known for its restaurants and cafes, boutique shopping and accommodation such as Rydges Oasis Resort.
