Beyond Noosa invites you on a journey to experience this stunning National Park of magnificent waterways aboard the Cooloola Queen.The boat caters for groups of up to 49 people and offers an upper viewing deck - the perfect location for not only viewing the spectacular scenery but a great place to enjoy the cool breezes of these tranquil waterways. The Cooloola Queen provides comfortable coach style seating, bathroom facilities, and a Hostess on board.
Beyond Noosa offers two distinctly different experiences - the Everglade Cruise and the Everglades Cruise and Coloured Sands Safari. The Everglades Cruise is a journey of the beautiful Noosa River and Lakes and the magical Everglades. Visit the Kinaba Information Centre, a unique centre built on a boardwalk above the wetlands. The Everglades is often called the River of Mirrors - tranquil and unspoilt waterways cruised through whilst you can enjoy and photograph the wonderful scenery. A barbeque lunch is catered for at Harry's Hut with a superb selection of meat, fish, fresh salads, crusty bread and a glass of wine. Morning and afternoon tea are served by your Hostess who will assist and provide, along with the experiences skipper, an informative commentary about the waterways, the history and the region.
The Everglades Cruise can be taken as a full day cruise, departing at 8:30am or a 3/4 day cruise departing approximately 9:30am by vehicle to Boreen Point where you will join the cruise. Cruise returns 4:30pm.
The Everglades and Coloured Sands Safari offers all the experiences of the Everglades Cruise plus more! On 'Safari' you will enjoy the natural rainforest, bushland and eucalypt forest, the Carlo Sandblow, Rainbow Beach, Double Island Point, the Cherry Venture shipwreck, Red Canyon and marvel at the renowned Coloured Sand Cliffs - distinctive sand dunes with magical colours of deep reds, oranges, browns and blacks. Afternoon tea is served on the beach at a shipwreck and from there you continue along 40 mile beach back to the mouth of the Noosa River. Venturing along the beach you can sight osprey, sea eagles and other ocean bird life. The occasional dolphin will entertain and at certain times of the year, whales may be sighted. The Everglades Cruise and Coloured Sands Safari departs at 8:30am and returns approximately 4:30pm. Due to tidal conditions this safari may operate in reverse.
