What to expect
You'll depart Agnes Water early and motor to the outer reef, typically making three to four dives depending on sea conditions and marine life activity. Each site is different—some favour pelagic species, others showcase coral gardens. Between dives you'll rest on deck, eat, and chat with fellow divers and guides who know these waters intimately. Underwater time varies by location and your group's pace. Expect a full-on day: the boat ride out, gearing up repeatedly, and genuine encounters with large animals. The reef's health is visible—colour and fish life are robust.
