What to expect

You'll board a scenic aircraft and climb to altitude over the Coral Sea. From your vantage point, the reef patterns become visible—branching corals, sandy channels, and deeper blue water beyond the outer edge. Marine life moves below; keep your eyes sharp for turtles gliding through shallows and sharks cruising the deeper zones. The flight path covers substantial distance to show you the reef's true breadth. You'll have a drink in hand during the flight, then land back at base after roughly an hour airborne.
