The Ironman events are as spectacular as they are grueling and you will be astounded by the skills and fitness of the competitors. The surf boat races are spectacular especially when the weather is a bit rough and the board and swim events will have you spellbound. Don’t forget to spend some quality time on the beach yourself. Have a try at surfing. If you are a novice then surfing lessons are available. Remember to swim between the flags where the world famous Australian lifeguards are active and can lend assistance if you get into difficulties. New sports like kitesurfing and windsurfing are also very popular on Surfers paradise beaches so give it a go and learn a new skill this holiday. Just remember that this is an extremely popular Surfers Paradise holiday accommodation destination and is often booked out so book early.
