Green Island hotel/resort accommodation comes in two styles. The reef suite is the upgraded room and is designed for couples and honeymooners. Each of these suites have a separate lounge area and one king bed. The island suites have either a king bed or two double beds. Green Island is located on the Great Barrier Reef and is accessed by launch or helicopter from Cairns. There is an underwater observatory as well as snorkeling, diving, glass bottom boats and fish feeding. Green Island is the only coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef with a rain forest.
