Hot meals aboard the The Westlander can be served individually or ordered as part of a meal package.

Breakfast

  • Stargazers breakfast
    Hot breakfast served with a slice of toast, creal, juice and tea or coffee.
  • Continental breakfast
    Includes toast with preserves, cereal, juice and tea or coffee.

Lunch
Hot meal served with a bread roll, dessert, juice and tea or coffee

Dinner
Hot meal served with a bread roll, dessert, juice and tea or coffee.

Takeaway style meals and snacks are available all day from the Club Car to take back to your seat or eat in the social atmosphere of the Club Car.

Special Dietary menu

The following codes will assist you select the most appropriate meal for your journey.

All requests for special dietary meals must be finalised with Traveltrain reservations and paid for no later than four days prior to departure. Meals in Queenslander Class are included in the fare, but four days notice is still required.

All meals consist of a main meal (with bread roll) and a dessert. Traveltrain will advise from which car your meal will be available.
