There are a number of whale watching charters available in Surfers Paradise, each offering their own unique experience. Most of which commence at 8am, and some offer pick up shuttle from your accommodation. One of the more prominent whale watch charters is Whales in Paradise, which proudly sport a 100% sighting record and operating between early June and late October.
The beauty of whale watching in Surfers Paradise is that you don’t have to venture too far off shore to be right on top of the humpback whales. They generally pass within a kilometre or two of the beach, making it easy to spot them.
