Outer Reef
Traverse the waters of the Great Barrier Reef on board Cruise Whitsundays’ vessel, Seaflight, a 37-metre wave piercer as you head out to an amazing pontoon at Knuckle Reef Lagoon. Relax in reserved seating in the Captain’s Lounge on the mid-deck of the fully air-conditioned vessel with refreshments served throughout the day, including a sumptuous buffet lunch.
Knuckle Reef Pontoon offers undercover seating and tables, plus sun decks for topping up the tan, freshwater showers and change rooms. There is a spectacular underwater viewing chamber, a fun giant slide and a swimming enclosure for children. The pontoon has its own ecosystem with magnificent corals and marine life not found in more open areas. It provides a unique world for you to explore, be it a Subsea adventure in a semi-submersible or by glass bottom boat, snorkelling, diving or Seawalker helmet diving.

Dinghy Hire
Follow the path of Captain Cook, who explored the waters surrounding Hayman in 1770, as you head out on one of our fun motorised dinghies. Our ‘neighbourhood’ offers bays and beaches, reefs and romance, and coral and crystal clear waters.
Reef Dancer
A journey close to Hayman on our ‘Reef Dancer’ semi-submersible vessel includes coral viewing and snorkelling among spectacular coral and beautiful tropical fish. Afterwards, we’ll be serving Australian sparkling wine and other refreshments as you reflect on the kaleidoscope of colours to be enjoyed in our waters.
Champagne Beach Sunset Drop Off
We will provide a cheese platter, bottle of Australian sparkling wine, picnic rug and cushions and take you by boat to a picturesque nearby beach to experience the splendour of a Whitsunday sunset.
Whale Watching
Experience the thrill of an encounter with majestic humpback whales during their annual migration to the warmth of the Whitsunday waters, normally from July to September. (Seasonal)

Private Launch Charters
Hayman operates a fleet of magnificent sleek white cruisers – Sun Eagle, Sun Paradise and Sun Goddess – which are beautifully appointed and are available for private charter for special occasions. These charters can take you to all parts of the fabulous Reef surroundings. Meals and refreshments can be organised for you to enjoy during the cruise.

SEA KAYAKING TRIPS
Island sea kayaking introduces you to the unique magic of the waters surrounding Hayman on comfortable and stable sit-on-top kayaks. With no prior experience necessary, all you need is a sense of adventure.
Experience close-up the marine diversity which abounds in the beautiful Whitsunday waters around Hayman without disturbing the ‘locals’ including turtles, manta rays and Reef fish. As an individual, a couple, a family or a group of friends, you can explore areas including Bali Hai, Goats’ Beach, Langford Reef, Blue Pearl Bay and other nearby islands.

Discovery Day
Discovery Day is an unforgettable sea kayak adventure. Discover the diverse marine life and coastal fauna of Hayman and surrounding islands. You set the pace as we paddle along fringing reefs, observing fish at home in the coral below. Watch turtles popping their heads up to say ‘hello’ or see majestic white-breasted sea eagles guarding their nests among the hoop pines. Enjoy a picnic lunch on a tropical beach then snorkel or simply relax.

HELICOPTER TRIPS
Helireef showcases the natural wonders of the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef with its extensive range of helicopter adventures.
Your experienced pilot will provide an informative in-flight commentary via comfortable stereo headsets fitted in all helicopters. Reef Discovery Tour
Reefworld is Australia’s largest purpose-built Reef facility designed to offer guests the ultimate Reef experience. Shaded decks, an underwater marine theatre, semi-submersible rides, fish feeding, snorkelling equipment, wetsuits, buoyancy vests, freshwater showers, and a souvenir shop, are all available at Reefworld. This magnificent unspoilt beach is a ‘must-see item on your holiday agenda. This tour is designed to capture Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet in all their glory. Savour the exceptional views over Hayman, Langford Reef, Hook and Whitsunday Islands and Hill Inlet, before landing gently on your own slice of paradise. SEAPLANE TRIPS
Air Whitsunday, the largest seaplane operator in the Southern Hemisphere, has served the needs of Hayman’s guests for 30 years. Their fleet includes five De Havilland Beavers, famous for their reliability and safety. Air Whitsunday’s pilots are dedicated to ensuring you have a safe and memorable experience.
Reef Adventure
Departing daily, seaplanes will showcase the magnitude of the Great Barrier Reef from above, before landing and transferring to private semi-submersibles at Hardy Reef for two hours of coral viewing and snorkelling. Enjoy aerial views of Hook, Hardy and Heart Reefs from above and explore this amazing underwater world from below. The seaplanes have large, unobstructed windows, perfect for photography and personal headsets. The semi-submersibles have an underwater viewing chamber, sun and shade decks and easy step access into the water. Groups are limited to a maximum of 12 people to ensure you receive the best attention. Snorkelling assistance and tuition are provided. All ages and fitness levels are catered for.

Whitehaven Experience
Whitehaven Beach is often voted as one of the best beaches in the world, famous for its incredibly white silica sand. This tours includes return seaplane flights (approx. 15 minutes each way), two hours at Whitehaven Beach, towels, umbrellas and refreshments. If you would like a picnic, please arrange this in advance with Hayman. In some weather conditions, this tours may require the seaplane to land at an alternate beach in the vicinity of Whitehaven Bay.

For a complete experience, visit the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach, all on one tours. Combine all the features of a Reef Adventure tours with a one-hour stop on Whitehaven Beach, an extraordinarily beautiful part of our world heritage national park. This tours includes return flights (approx. one hour total), towels, umbrellas and refreshments. A picnic can be arranged in advance with Hayman. In some weather conditions, this tours may require the seaplane to land at an alternate beach in the vicinity of Whitehaven Bay.

Fantasea Reefworld
Fantasea Reefworld is the largest purpose-built pontoon facility on the Great Barrier Reef. Seaplanes depart daily for Reefworld and include aerial views of Hayman, Hook Island, Hardy Reef and Heart Reef, before splashing down on the pontoon. Guests have the option of snorkelling and diving, riding the semi-submersible or simply enjoying being part of the largest living structure on earth. Reefworld has showers, conveniences, sun and shade areas and provides snorkelling equipment. Certified divers are required to produce their qualifications prior to boarding their seaplane. The tours duration is three hours for snorkellers and one-tank divers. Tours are scheduled to visit Reefworld during a time when there are few other guests there.

Scenic Flights
Air Whitsunday’s seaplanes provide a great way to enjoy our world heritage surroundings from the air. All aircraft have large panoramic windows, and passenger headsets and include an in-flight commentary. Scenic flights can be booked at a time to suit your holiday schedule and require only two people on each flight.

Laguna Whitsundays Golf
Turtle Point Golf Course is located on the mainland at Laguna Whitsundays. The 18-hole golf course, designed by former US Open and USPGA Champion, David Graham and partner Gary Panks, offers a true challenge as the 6399-metre layout meanders through native bushland and lush rainforest, and is framed by the Coral Sea lapping at a number of fairways. This trip includes return Air Whitsunday flights to Hayman, an 18-hole round of golf, use of a motorised golf cart, club hire and refreshing house beverages served poolside.
