Whitsunday Passage, Long Island
BreakFree Long Island Resort is located at the northern end of Long Island in the Whitsundays and caters for everyone, from couples to families and from young to old. Palms Restaurant
Palms Restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers buffet style dining and you can choose from the A la carte menu.
Café Paradiso
This licensed Café is open daily and offers casual dining, including pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, snacks and beverages. The café can even arrange a picnic hamper.
WEDDINGS & HONEYMOONS
Long Island resort can cater for large and small weddings, and this island is fantastic for a honeymoon getaway.
The resort offers a beachside location surrounded by tropical palm trees, with beautiful butterflies and colourful rainbow lorikeets. Get married on the white sandy beach, either during the day or while the sun is setting over the Coral Sea.
Long Island offers Lodge, Garden and Beachfront rooms. The Lodge Rooms are located in the gardens and provide budget accommodation. The Garden Rooms are surrounded by tropical gardens while the Beachfront Rooms are just metres from the beach with someocean views.

GETTING TO THE ISLAND
By Air
There are two options; you can fly to Hamilton Island Airport (HTI) or the Whitsunday Coast Airport at Proserpine (PPP). Both have regular flights from Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns.
Hamilton Island is the best way to get to Long Island as you’ll only need to catch a 30-40 minute ferry with Cruise Whitsundays as supposed to having to catch a bus from Proserpine Airport to Airlie Beach and then a 30 minute ferry to Long Island.
Cruise Whitsundays offers a connecting transfer from Proserpine Airport to Long Island, this includes a 30 minute bus trip from airport to Airlie Beach plus a 30 minute ferry transfer to the Island.

Ferry Transfer from Abel Point Marina or Hamilton Island Airport
By Road
If travelling by car or bus, you’ll have to stop at Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach. From here you can catch a ferry with Cruise Whitsundays to Daydream. Secure parking is available at the marina.
Driving from Brisbane to Airlie Beach is approximately 12 hours and an 8 hour drive from Cairns.
If travelling by bus, coach services operate between Brisbane and Cairns.
By Rail
Train travel is also an option from Brisbane or Cairns to Proserpine Rail Station, from here Whitsunday Transit Coach service has busses to take you to the marina in Airlie Beach to take you to Long Island.
