Luxury accommodation on the Sunshine Coast is one of those extraordinary pleasures of life that everyone wants to experience at least once in their life. The Sunshine Coast is situated about an hours drive north of Brisbane and has a number of great locations where you can find some really special luxury accommodation. A great deal of this is situated right on the beachfront. Caloundra has some great luxe products, especially around the Golden Beach area. Mooloolaba has a reputation to uphold in this area. Places like the Mantra Mooloolaba, Zanzibar and Oceans resort all supply beachfront accommodation in apartment style resorts and hotels. They command fantastic ocean views and are only walking distance to lots of great cafes and restaurants. The esplanade location means that you only have to walk across the road to the beach. At Maroochydore you will find something similar with the Sebel Maroochydore having a similar location.
North from Maroochydore there are two fantastic golf resorts that both fit into the luxury accommodation category. These are the Novotel Twin Waters resort and the Hyatt Regency Coolum. Come here for a golfing weekend that you will never forget. Noosa is the home of luxury accommodation in Queensland and here you will find a large number of sensational resorts to choose from. Hastings Street is the choice of the hoi polloi to stay for a while as it is the place to be seen while on holidays. Hastings Street runs along Noosa’s beachfront and has resorts on both sides of the road. Those on the ocean side are true beach frontages and have a special ambience and spectacular views. Such luxe properties as Netanya Noosa and Maison Noosa and Seahaven are all fantastic places to stay. On the other side of the road, you will find the Sheraton Noosa and the Sebel Noosa. The brand new Quay West resort Noosa and the Outrigger Viridian resort will both open in 2010 near Noosa hill.
Wherever you decide to stay you will be very pleased you decided to stay in Sunshine Coast luxury accommodation.
