Hamilton Island Resort Australia, is one of the 74 tropical islands in the Coral Sea, between the Queensland coast and the Great Barrier Reef. It is the largest of the Whitsunday island resorts , positioned nearly half way between the coastline of Brisbane and Cairns.
Over 80 per cent of Hamilton Island has been carefully preserved in its natural state so that visitors can continue to enjoy the pristine beauty of the island's fabulous beaches, un-spoilt nature trails and secluded hideaways.

ACTIVITIES
Hamilton Island offers guests a very extensive range of over 40 activities, most on a daily basis. These include the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach cruises, waterskiing, windsurfing, catamaran and yacht sailing, gymnasium, tennis, game fishing, nature walks, Hamilton Island Wildlife Park, sea kayaking, scenic flights, safari tours, or simply just relaxing by one of the six resort pools.

KIDS STAY & EAT FREE
Kids 0 to 12 years stay free when sharing a room with parents and using existing bedding. Kids 0 to 12 years eat free when dining with parents and eating from the kid's menu in selected restaurants. The Kids Stay and Eat Free program is not available to conference delegates.

CLIMATE
Hamilton Island lies on the same latitude as Honolulu in the northern hemisphere and Mauritius in the south. It has a year round tropical climate with an average temperature of 27.4 degrees centigrade. Tropical showers can occur between December -February.

From Whitsunday Coast Airport in Proserpine, Cruise Whitsundays has a combined coach and ferry transfer that operates from the Able Point marina in Airlie beach to Hamilton

BY ROAD
The Bruce Highway provides access for self drive and coach patrons who make their own travel arrangements along the Queensland coast. The Whitsundays are around 12 hours drive north from Brisbane.
BY RAIL
Regular daily train services depart from Brisbane heading North and from Cairns and Townsville heading South. A Whitsunday Transit Coach service is available from Proserpine Rail Station with launch connections from Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach or from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island.
