Location:
Hamilton Island Resort Australia, is one of the 74 tropical islands in the Coral Sea, between the Queensland coast and the Great Barrier Reef. It is the largest inhabited island in the Whitsundays, positioned nearly half way between the coastline of Brisbane and Cairns.
Accommodation:
Hamilton Island has a wide variety of accommodation available to suit all tastes and budgets. Choose from spacious hotel rooms and suites, luxury beachfront accommodation, private bungalows, apartment style hotels, or self-catering apartments and villas.
Over 80 per cent of Hamilton Island has been carefully preserved in its natural state so that visitors can continue to enjoy the pristine beauty of the island's fabulous beaches, un-spoilt nature trails and secluded hideaways.
Construction Update
Hamilton Island has sporadic construction work that may be taking place near the self-catering Hamilton Island Holiday Properties (generally located on the north-western side of the island - isolated from the majority of the island's hotel-style accommodation). Where Hamilton Island is aware of construction noise, every effort will be made to manage and minimize the impact on holidaymakers.
