There are lots of different things to do that you can do. A day away at Parronnella Park is always fun for the entire family. To the south the Tully River thunders through the Tully Gorge and white water rafting is available. This is also a magnificent rainforest location for a family picnic. Other fantastic activities include a sky dive with the guys from “Jump the Beach” or you can take a boat tour to the Great Barrier Reef and go diving or snorkelling or alternatively, you can take the ferry to nearby Dunk Island and spend the day or a week enjoying the beautiful bushwalking or relax by the pool.
All the normal beachside activities you can imagine are also available at Mission Beache’s magnificent beach. Stinger nets make the beach safe for swimming during the stinger season. In the town area, there is a great choice of restaurants and cafes with one certain to appeal to you.
