If you are having a holiday with kids in Brisbane, there are tours that will take you to places like Australia Zoo in Brisbane’s north or to the gold coast theme parks that are only an hours drive along the gold coast motorway. Dreamworld is the closest with its fantastic adrenaline pumping rides. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild water park are close by and will provide hours of fantastic entertainment and SeaWorld is just down the road with its aquatic and marine animal displays.
Moreton Bay is another great destination if you are looking for excellent activities. Tangalooma lies on its western shore and has a fantastic calm water beach. Wild dolphins visit Tangalooma every day for a free food handout and you can be there to feed them yourself. A fast catamaran cruise is available to take you to and fro. Brisbane activities can also include whale watching, museums, art gallery’s, fine dining, great cafes and restaurants or if you are a bit of a thrill seeker, try parachuting or a ride in a hot air balloon.
