See the best of everything Fraser Island has to offer in this all-inclusive 3D/2N trip. With plenty of additional time to spare, you’ll hit beautiful attractions as high as Orchid Beach and as low as Lake Wabby. See the untouched areas not commonly on other itineraries and take home some uniquely stunning photos and memories! Including permanent tented accommodation, all meals freshly prepared & a guide for all your sticky questions!

Beaches Backpackers pioneered the Fraser Island Safari, so we make sure we equip you with everything you need to have the time of your life on this amazing, World Heritage Listed Island! Including:
- Your vehicle – a Late model Toyota Landcruiser Troop Carrier (we put you in groups of up to 11 other like-minded travelers)
- All the camping equipment you need
- Camp Beaches…our exclusive campsite only for Beaches guests!
- Full tank of fuel
- A comprehensive briefing on how to drive the vehicle
- Itinerary suggestions for your trip
- Assistance with shopping with ideas and suggested menus
- Return ferry transfers from River Heads (about 15 mins from Hervey Bay)
- PLUS – TWO-NIGHT ACCOMMODATION AT BEACHES HERVEY BAY ON THE MAINLAND.
WHAT TO BRING?
- A small day pack with enough clothing for 3 days (a jumper and/or raincoat is always handy!)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Drivers
Guests wishing to drive on Fraser Island must be 21 years or older and hold a current and full driver’s license. International driver’s licenses are preferred.
Bond
A $750.00 security bond is required per vehicle (not per person). A copy of a nominated credit card for this amount is kept until the vehicle is returned. On inspection of the vehicle assuming there is no damage, this copy is returned, with no charge!
Food & Alcohol
Allow approximately $20 per person to go toward the shopping kitty. Food shopping occurs the morning of your departure so as a group you can decide on your menu for the trip, and account for any special food requirements. Alcohol can be purchased at Beaches Bottle Shop.
Fees & Charges
An all-inclusive $60 payable direct charge is applicable at check-in including a full tank of fuel, national park fees, vehicle access fee, comprehensive insurance, roll mats, ice on the first day, and luggage storage at Hervey Bay.
