Kuranda & Tablelands Cape Trib Connections

They drive South to the beautiful Mulgrave River valley and then travel up Gillie’s highway towards the Atherton Tablelands, stopping at Crawford’s lookout to enjoy the picturesque beauty overlooking the Western face of Mt Bellenden Kerr.

They drive onto the Atherton tablelands and visit Lake Barrine. You can view the giant kauri Pines and enjoy the famous Devonshire Tea (optional). They stop at Lake Eacham before they visit the curtain fig Tree. They drive through Atherton on their way to the Humpy (Local Produce Stall). The next stop is Kuranda.

You will have plenty of time to look at the markets. Late in the afternoon, they visit the Barron River Falls. On the way back they will stop at the Henry Ross Lookout before they take you back to your accommodation in Cairns.
