There are plenty of activities to become involved in around Port Douglas. Tours leave daily for the magnificent Daintree Rainforest and the coastal region between Cape Tribulation and Cooktown. This is a must-see area with some of the best pristine rainforest regions, left in the world to be experienced. Golfers will love Port Douglas with its great weather and a choice of resort courses to choose from. The Sheraton mirage has a beautiful course running along the main beachfront. The sea Temple resort also has a wonderful course and the local Mossman Golf Course is always open and welcomes visitors. At nearby Palm Cove, there are other great courses to choose from.
